We don’t just want Penrith to recover, we want it to prosper.

Grow jobs.

Build and they will come. Too often in the past, Sydney has relied on the eastern suburbs and CBD corridor to provide employment to greater Sydney. It means people from places like Penrith are commuting hours every day to jobs that could be done around the corner. They’re spending their money elsewhere, spending their time elsewhere, and spending energy getting there. We think this is a terrible waste. And it’s why we believe so strongly in the Nepean Business Park as the key to unlocking Penrith’s success.

This business park is set to create up to 18,450 jobs and 4,000 permanent ongoing jobs with the estate on completion. The knock-on effect is monumental; an extra $1.95b pumped into the economy during construction, $500m gross value added to the local economy yearly, and nearly $300 million per annum placed straight into the hands of local Penrith workers. Talk about growth.

Grow lifestyle.

But cities are more than just economies. They’re more than just numbers on a page. Home is about the community, the people, and the beautiful lands that make up Penrith and its surrounds. Which is why Nepean Business Park is investing so heavily in community and the local environment. On top of the diverse range of businesses and services being established – we’re also creating pedestrian and cycle links with an extension to the Great River Walk, commissioning public art for the area, and are dedicating 5.5 acres of private land along the Nepean River to the community.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about improving livelihoods in Penrith, it’s about improving lives and living standards. It’s about a precinct that’s sustainable, and employment that works together with the environment. This is just the beginning of what Penrith can achieve.

If we’re successful, the future will be bright for Penrith.
